Ok, thanks. Best of luck, James.
-
Thanks. Results day happens to fall on my 18th birthday, so that should be interesting.
-
School done. Only one exam to prepare for.
-
Attaboy. Kick its a## and grab your next endeavor by the scruff, Jimmy. You're in that prime period where you're still young, but you're also an adult. Enjoy that; this post-high school period has been badass so far for me.
-
Cheers buddy, sounds like you're enjoying yourself! Not sure really what is in store over the next few weeks other than 1 exam - I'll take everyday as it comes. We'll catch up again soon.

Still can't get over that Porsche crash at Imola today. Incredibly violent accident. So glad the driver was okay.
-
Missed that one...did you post a link in the crash thread? Massive fireball in V8's at Perth over the weekend too
-
Yeah, I posted it in the crash thread. I saw the V8 fireball one too - very scary. Hopefully he recovers from his small burns soon. Lot of big accidents this weekend - I guess you could say Ayrton and Roland were looking out for people.

It wasn't really you it was aimed at, so I'm sorry it came across that way. It was more about the New Zealand Maori stuff, whatever that was about.
-
Thanks! Hopefully off to Sheffield Hallam. Went for a look round yesterday, and it's a really nice place, such a different environment and much more mature than school.
Hahah, that's the plan. I'm working for a couple of sites and a local paper, so hopefully...

Has 5 conditional offers for university already! Pleased and excited.

Ever since you joined TF1 I had this suspicion of you being Eric and this is only making it stronger...oh well, nevermind. Must be a coincidence
-
Hahaha, I can categorically say I'm not Eric. We're good friends, but we have a lot of differences too. He wants to go to uni too though, so hopefully it's going well for him.
-
My 2 cents: Don't go for PR. The other 2 are much better. Anyhoo, all the best.
-
tell you what, you get further banging you head against a f*cking brick wall repeatedly than you do by talking to teachers at school. Arghhhhh!
-
Wow Premat's was massive/ Glad to see he got out of that in one piece
-
The ending of Dracula was rather underwhelming. A guy bleeds to death through his fingers and Dracula evaporates. Or something.
-
I think my mind about Uni may be close to decided. £25,000 debt after 2-3 years when a degree is no longer a sure fire route to a job? Maybe not. Thanks, Tories.

For the 33rd, on a similar subject, I mailed my uni apps out today. How does that work in the U.K.? Do you mail apps to specific unis or do you just make a profile/form and the unis contact you? Here we mail direct to the unis we want to go to and then choose from the ones that accept. I only ask because I remember something about a UCAS being different...
-
Hey, that all fit!
And now we have 34.
-
We create a profile/form and then the unis contact us. First you've got to get the form apst your head of year first before they send it off though, I jsut want to be rid of it now!

wonders what some people's problems are. Moral of the story, don't get close to people you think are your friends, because one day it'll turn that they're not.

You mean a game of wussies wussy LEAGUE...
-
ahhhh...it's when the F1 game comes out...
-
Haha, it's a Friday? Even better! Yep, it's the F1 game. First F1 game to come to PC in god knows how long, and since I don't bother with crap like xbox and playstation, I'm ready for the wait to be over.
-
Since when has a football team been above the law?
-
Hélio Castroneves, Valentino Rossi, Lewis Hamilton, Lindsey Lohan, J.C. France, O.J. Simpson...all above the law. Why so surprised?
If you don't like the British legal system, move to India. If no new cases were ever filed again, it would take 364 years to clear existing ones. Average wait time for a court trial is around 35-40 years.
I'll take my celebrity exemptions over that, thanks.

Already my dad has ordered tickets for next year's British Grand Prix, the month of my school leaving prom! Oh well, I'd take Formula One over a stupid prom any day of the week!
