5P33D3V1L 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Donington is a nightmare for me on playstation but should be a good track for F1 cars! haha same, i dreaded Donnington when I played Moto GP and Toca Touring cars I think a change was needed and its come at the right time. Theres so many new tracks coming to the calendar and kept posing a threat to the GP so a change of venue for the British GP is a good move. I do think Silverstone is a better track but you cant help but feel that Formula 1 is now modernising and changing so many of the older tracks are going. After the departure of Schumacher F1 just seems different. Though this doesnt mean we should lose Suzuka Spa and Monza. Those track are irreplacable.
Grabthaw the Hammerslayer 4 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 It won't happen. The GP will stay at Silverstone. Bernie loaded the gun. Now he's fired it but he's not aiming at the target. The noise of the gun has scared the BRDC. Indeed, I heard that Bernie had only done a deal with a promoter, not with the circuit direct - Donnington is the circuit that the promoter favours. They are supposed to have an investor willing to put

Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Well b*gger me another Bristle lad. I was born in Keynsham and lived in Clevedon for many years.... Clevedon looks nice, with its beach and so on, but in the evening the scumbags come out, I got chased in my car once by a clevedon chav in his Ford Escort, he had his slag in the passenger seat too! The Rumble Strip 0 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 I can't say I'm thrilled with the prospect. Never had a problem with Silverstone, although the car parks can be a bit tiresome but I don't see that an upgraded Donnington will be any better.
