Ferrari To Set Up Young Drivers Scheme

If you have to save up your energy throughout the race then I wouldn't find it too artificial. Saved energy becomes something else you have to conserve and manage, like fuel and tyres.

I agree with you. Savor the moment, Bruce Graham.

P2P isn't a gimmick, in my book, because everyone has it, you just have to manage it. Having a more relevant version of P2P in KERS would be a nice idea for both the real world and the sport. But it won't happen. We'll just live in Graham's communist world where we all get 16.2 seconds per lap to use it ;)

 If I could make all 'merkins live in a communist world, that would be something to savour! Especially one where I'm the obligatory dictator. :P I'd be a benign one - but you knew that obviously. Maybe in the future we'll all be commies. Anyway, if done right KERS sounds good but I'm especially looking forward to the aero changes next year. More communist and also more overtaking-friendly hopefully.

If 50% of your income going back to the gov't isn't communist, I don't know what is ;)

Seriously, though, I agree that while the 2009 regs don't make me warm in the knickers like you, I am certainly more interested in next year's F1 stuff than this year's. But I'll still watch Brazil because I'm a fair weather Patriots fan and can't stand watching Matt Cassel and our 80-year-old defense.

(Thank you to our kind and loving leader Graham for allowing me to make this post and live the quality of life I do. Without Him, we would be a poor, lost community of inequal and corrupt individuals. Praise Graham and thank Him for every day. Be sure to read all seven books of the Muzzah as they contain the truth. Thank you, Graham, for saving the world from freedom).

 Cheers Eric. But you don't have to thank me that much - your earnings will be recompense enough! Never forget, as every good dictator will tell you, freedom is slavery.

Bah KERS won't do bollock all for the racing, some people will use it better than others like with everything else, and then it just balances out again. Aside from that, it's expensive and not at all green, which kinda goes against the current direction of F1.

How it not green??

Yeah, It seems America is on teh path of realizing Socialism (aka Communism) is better than the Chicago School Economics... Atleast that what it looks like...

I canna find the article, something to do with having to fly the batteries to each race, and then back to base, and the fact the units will only last one race and then be totally useless (landfill).

Also the fact that the units aren't gonna be that sophisticated in terms of how much energy they store. Saying that, once they make the KERS units more efficient and more durable, it will be 'green'.

But KERS should be good, another element to add to the mix.

Edit: Repeated myself.

Indeed. Freedom is awful. Knowing that my hard work is for the good of the state and our lord and savior Muzza, I can now sleep at night.

And yeah, it's like that with the Toyota Prius. It's worse to buy one than it is to drive an SUV because of some weird part they use. Top Gear taught me that. If anyone has a way I can watch Top Gear in the US now that they get deleted from YouTube, please tell me. I don't like being in the dark, and Top Gear USA is going to be the world's worst show and everyone knows it.

Here you go. That has the latest series, I imagine whoever uploaded that series will upload the next one (starts Nov 2nd), because they have no life - and no, I didn't upload it

Edit: I pluralised (wow is that a word), when I shouldn't have.

Thank you so friggin' much Georgie.

And yes, in Britainland pluralised is a word. In KFC, pluralized is. :P

Britainland is not a word. Pluralis(z)ed or not. At best, if it were an acceptable way of describing our once great but now vastly over populated scumbag ridden excuse for a land mass, surely it would be hyphonalalzized?

Well, if you'd like for it to reflect that, perhaps New Zealand would do the trick.

(I'm just trying to get Handy to come out of hiding...call it baiting, but if it's that, I am the master of it. Which has to be, even with some of LabradoRacer's puns, the worst joke ever posted here ;) )
