Yeah, it's not like we'll really miss them.

I had forgotten about tis though.

I think that it's definately going to be an improvement, even if overtaking isn't going to change, it looks that much better.

OKOK bash the grooves but think about it they were meant to slow the cars down , and still they were able to match or better slick tyre track records , so they only worked for a few races , I kinda dig the white stripe they use to show the "option" tyre . Besides Indy cars use slicks who wants to use indy car tyres .

Although they have given drivers interesting dilemmas, grooved tyres have been too knife edge, even for the spectacle. Many drivers complain about difficulty on being able to lean on them for fear of violent responses. I want to see lurid slides, something i believe the drivers will feel happier doing with a boot that loses traction in a more progressive and predictable fashion. Plus, they look sh!t.
