The Most Beautiful Cars!

Recommended Posts

When it comes to the Fiat 500, I'm a hater. I'm one of the only ones, and while I like the idea of a small car with a lot of performance, the styling, for whatever reason, just doesn't appeal to me. However, I will gladly take one of these.

You should see the car in flesh, I didn't like it when I first saw it..May be you would like it in pink..:P

well, Merc SLS seems to be really sexy...its not the most beautiful car, but it doesn't have to go faster than a Ferrari for someone to buy it...Just classic and simply refreshing.....

The new Merc SLS looks very like the old 300 SL but more muscular @ the front cos it needs to be cos of the volcano under the bonnet! 6.2L V8 570bhp no S/C :D ! Will be going head-to-head with McLaren MP11 or whatever & the Ferrari 458 & I'll imagine Clarkson will drive it on TG cos Hammond has never driven a Merc, apart from the SLR & the old S Class that Clarkson tried to make it look like his house & took 32 secs to get to 60mph!

Speaking of Top Gear, when the boys were doing the classic car race in Majorca there were some great shots of a beautiful car. In fact, this car would be right up there in my top 3 beautiful cars.

Lancia Stratos. The '70s one.

I can't just wait to see the SLS:wub::wub:...its simply the best looking car that has been recently launched, my friends who saw it in Frankfurt agree with me...

Btw....I did see a couple of Stratos in Turin....with its engines on!

I will post the pics of a rare Stratos I got to see and touch in Bertone...:D

DBS is DB9's dirty sister, I will take the DB9.

Jeremy Clarkson did a show on just this and started off by saying they seemed like the same car, BUT after testing the DBS changed his mind very quickly and said the DBS was a whole lot better! James Bond AND Jeremy Clarkson can't be wrong me friend ;)

With some quality tuning, I can get my DB9 catch DBS...but I won't do it. I prefer beauty over outright performance. I don't need the DBS, but if you like DBS, go for it, I wont stop you...Just like I prefer the v8 vantage to V12. I don't like boy racer look these days. I prefer to have my rides look a bit more clean...hmm..hope I am not getting too old.

I don't mess with James bond....but Jermey..whom I do like is an a##hole, he doesn't give you a precise answer all the time, he only says his opinion, but I like the way he says though......makes me smile..(just like how Maure says:P)

And finally, they have launched the RAPIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To me, the DB9 is perfection. Anything past that is pretentious.

What does Clarkson know? He clearly never drove the DBS in the wet cos those sticky track tyres have no grip in the wet & will probably spend most of his time on the M25 fishtailing during a thunderstorm if he were to drive 1!

He also changes his mind very quickly. He'll say a car is brilliant & 1 year later he'll slag it off, or vice versa! Classic case in point, when he tested the Mk V Golf GTi, @ 1st he said it'd be rubbish, heavy & like the Mk. III & IV GTi's but then he drove it @ loved it!

OK, I'm going waaaay OT!

I agree with that Clarkson stuff....He is just a lucky clown, but a great asset for BBC...anyways I wish I had his job....don't we all wish?

well, years of anticipation brings out absolute rubbish from Lexus....remember this thread is not about the performance, its about the design, its about how you feel when you look at a car, not driving it.....so anyone who wants to sing songs about the LFA can create 'the best car to drive blah blah' thread.

http://www.worldcarfans.com/109102122570/lexus-lfa-officially-unveiled-in-tokyo-video

I can't think of a design that is even worse than this amongst the established car manufacturers.......(pity it has superb performance credentials)...its got so many details that are absolute nonesense and not functional....

Regardless of my comments, that car will be a sellout anyways.....for those who would like to have some ugliness in their garage..:D

I wish the Honda Fit looked better. I wish the 2012 VW Polo TDI 3-door was just a hair bigger (it looks better than the 5-door, but driving a small car on US motorways is a bad idea. You're just asking to die). I wish I had a use for owning a car (I hate driving and will go out my way not to as much as I can, which is impossible in the US, but I think I can hold off doign any driving until I'm 22 and out of uni...and if I go for more years at uni...). I wish I had something more interesting to say about cars.

I don't really like any Astons. They aren't bad-looking, but they don't do much for me. They're better than a lot, I suppose, but I just never got into the Aston thing.

Or any fast road cars, I suppose.

Well the good news for you guys are that VW may relaunch Microbus...:naughty:

Not many people who own an Aston drive fast, because by the time they buy one, they are so old and they tend to get a heart attack if they rev it more than 2000 rpm, watching a bald old man drive an Aston is like watching a stunning girl being taken away by an old man and she turning back and looking at you helplessly......and the sound she makes while being driven are like that girl faking orgasms.....:(

I always pictured you as more of the Volvo sort of guy - you know the big square estate version of the 740 - you could throw all the leftover bones from your KFC over your shoulder into and with its capacity I reckon you would only have to empty it about every other.... week once they hit the ceiling :D

 If it's a diesel, I'm so there, though the clearance at the KFC drive thru is a bit low...

 It probably would cost about the same as anything on the KFC dollar menu, too, and have a similar rust content as the chicken there.
