The cars that can't get into Q1 can be fueled as much as they like, can't they??

Not just fuel load, also the extra weight of KERS and lack of diffuser itself. I don't think Piquet is better than Nando, I just think he is not as bad he looks. Its just my opinion.

But he had no KERS at China...only Kovi, Hammy and Heidy had it.

Diffuser theory is plausible however. We will see this weekend with two interim diffusers in the Ren camp.

Over the other side of the garage things are not so happy, however. Rumours continue to surface that Nelson Piquet Jr has only a few races in which to save his Renault career, after a series of unconvincing performances from the young Brazilian. Names in the frame to replace him have included his compatriot Bruno Senna.

Briatore stated that he had not yet reached the point of passing judgement on Piquet, however.

Today he had very good race. His pace was as good as Alonso's and he didn't make any mistakes.

indeed Alonso drove dehydrated and had a burn too (he passed out after the race briefly) due to the seat being extremely hot in the place in contact with the rest of the car- that took sheer determination to even finish

Good job from Alonso then! (And Renault, mwahahaha.)

Hey Max!!! Do me a favour and go online on msn if you don't want a spanking!!! You have 24h or so... the big boss behind the scenes is getting impatient.

Yep.

Pity, though, that it has taken some 20 races to happen. It might be too little too late.

A Sato comeback would be fun. Move over, Piquet.

Would Sato get better results than Piquet.

I'm not sure.

Pity even though Sato would bring better results, I doubt he would be paired alongside Alonso.

Yes, Sato would definitely get better results. Sato was fast but erratic. Piquet is consistently slow.

You can at least be sure that he can't do worse, right?

Thats why anyone better than Piquet will never be employed. :P

And is that why they were trying to hire Button?

Buttonites won't feel too happy with your statement :P
