Kimi to Manor. Kimi to Manor! KIMI TO MANOR!

Or...

Massa quits Ferrari for Force India and will win WDC in 2010 while Alonso and Piquet reunite at Ferrari.

I'd LOLroll and ROFLwaffle if Rubens won the WDC this year and had no ride in 2010. Then I'd cry.

Same here, minus the crying :P

Actually maybe a big surprise in the driver market is the return of the Shoemaker? Yeah yeah, I know, Ferrari seats are filled, which is why it would be all the more surprising

Nelsinho to Ferrari :whistling:

I'm not sure, I heard Ferrari only hires drivers based on how much money they bring to the team :P

Well, your tears are pure grease anyway, so I can see why you'd try to refrain from that type of thing. You'd get streaks of acne, which looks very odd on someone of your age (which is either in the 23-30 range or the 56-71 range).

I wouldn't be surprised if he was somehow lured into Brawn to help old Rossy out. Then my least favorite team would be united with my least favorite driver and it would be grand! I'd even support Kimi to beat them :P.

I like your guesses at my age, they make me feel really mature/young and cool :P

Yeah, if he went to Brawn that would be the 2nd coolest thing that's ever happened in F1, the coolest was when Marko Asmer tested for BMW.

 So you are in the 30-56 range, you fell for the trap. Oh man oh man oh man I tricked the Rainmaster I tricked the Rainmaster yes yes yes! Oh I'm going to tell my mommy and make a certificate in PhotoShop and print it out and put it on my fridge and tell all the girls about it when I try to find a date for prom and oooooh gosh golly gee it's gonna be swell!

So you are 52, retired, used to be a lawyer, wrote fun documents about where things go when people die, and depressed yourself by spending your entire life talking to people about "well, if you both die right now, and your oldest child is 17 years and 364 days, and Grandma Sue is in federal prison, and Uncle Shaliq lives in a Toyota Innova..." etc, etc, so you liked to escape by listening to The Verve and pretending you were Nigel Mansell (you look the same, don't you?). Additionally, you wore your sunglasses at night and drove a red 1993 Ford Escort for the longest time (one of the doors was white because they couldn't find a replacement and you had spent all your money on KFC so couldn't replace it). Your first wife was named Florence Meanioni, the second Fairuz Fauzy, the third Steve Winwood, the fourth Flavio Briatore, the fifth Juan Pablo Montoya, and the sixth (and current) the person who founded JewishMingle.com. You live on the corner of Oakwood Lane and Blackcroft Ave in Barnton, UK. Your house is the one with the big blue automobile on the property on Google Maps; that vehicle is, of course, a Fiat Qubo.

 Hey, Marko still has a chance to be the 2011 WDC, Georgems. Keep the faith. I'll be over here waiting for the 9,000,000,000 championships Simona de Silvestro and Robert Wickens will combine to win.

I guess that's the big suprise in the 2010 driver market. Everyone was taking it as a given he was off to Renault. But we'll see.

Nothing surprises me anymore. Think on this though - Kimi may not stay in F1 at all. Where would that put us?

Today a spanish journalist said McLaren-Kimi and Renault-Kubica will be announced very soon. I don't know what to believe.

Well that would put HIM in WRC no doubt.

Watching Fisichella results and knowing we are at the end of the season, I wonder what was he thinking when he signed for Ferrari? I mean he had a great result at FI and he had the chance to be there next year, Ferrari had Massa, Kimi and Alonso (and probably Schumi) on list for next season and this is something Ferrari knew and Ferrari also knew (and maybe Fisichella) they had stopped developing the F-60, I know Ferrari wanted to have him for the remainder of the season but he should know that he would maybe get one or two good results at least because thecar would be falling behind, but he anyway wanted to go there and Ferrari knowing all this still contracted him, maybe using the debt FI had with them to get him, but he still haven't got a single point and he doesn't look like he is going to drive for any other team, I know he can get a contract maybe easier than RB but so far I haven't heard anything about it.

Form my POV it looks like he sacrificed he career with this move, maybe he was thinking "now I can show what I can do it a top team" but Ferrari never had a good car this season and once again he knew that, he knows he car was faster at Spa and Kimi got there a lucky win because of the position of the fastest drivers that day, so I still don't know what he was thinking adn what was Ferrari thinking hiring him to drive a car that was not going to be developed anymore? that was like giving up, they should have kept Badoer driving that car no matter what I don't think he could have done any worse, once you are out of the point any position is the same regarding results.

Ferrari made an emotional decision when they put Badoer in the car, Fisichella made an emotional decision when he accepted the drive to replace him. Both decisions didn't really pay off, emotional decisions are usually bad decisions. Or maybe I've been watching too much House.

I think so too but I am not that sure now that Badoer was a bad decision as Fisico have not scored a single point with Ferrari and he've been driving the whole season, he was supposed to do a lot better but that have not been the case.

 I will be laughing because I will have graduated high school by then, gone to the all-night party, gone to grad parties, maybe gone to the Canuckistan Grand Prix of Fun if it doesn't conflict with grad parties (I have no friends outside of the forum, so what grad parties would I be invited to? :P), and I'll be in uni and life will be 1,000,000 times better until I realize that I won't have any friends there because I don't drink, and then it'll suck, and I won't be laughing. So I guess you're right. Damn you for being right. At least I was right about your life; the only mistake I made was that your fifth wife was actually an 11/10-scale plastic model of JPM, not the real thing. I know the truth, Regenmeister, so don't you think for a damn second I don't. When you're in the forefront running your little Raindrive Promasters, I'll make sure the world's press knows, and then you'll be on the local public access town channel that my content appears on, and all 2 people who watch will know that you drove a 1993 Ford Escort. Talk about a way to p**s away your credibility.

It won't. Nico goes to Brawn, Sutil goes to McLaren, Heikki goes to Renault, Kubica goes to Toyota, Rubens goes to Williams, and Kimi goes to Wales in your lorry with you and Dave to see the whales and things.

Nico at Brawn? Most probably. Sutil at McLaren? He is no one's bitch and with McLaren rumoured to be buying BMW's F1 engine outfit and going it alone next year, perhaps Heidfeld would be a good man to have on board in the transitional season. Kovi may follow Kubica to Renault but in my book, he's just not good enough for F1, period. Rubens to Williams? Yes, if JB re-signs at BGP. If Jens goes to Toyota, Barrichello may stay at Brawn with Rosberg on board too. Kimi may go to McLaren or Toyota or even Renault. It's certainly not as clear cut as some would have us believe. Unfortunately, Buttons' failure to win a race since Turkey in June has seriously depleted his worth on the market as people now see him as something of a choker. It's true his quali pace has been poor and it's let him down but he's not the kind of driver that can nail a single banzai lap at the drop of a hat. Brawn admitted today that the team have not given him enough laps and more importantly, tyres to get him on the front row. Ross said they would be giving him more support in that area. He certainly was doing more Q3 laps when he was winning, that's for sure. He really shines as a race driver and with the 2010 regs shipping refuelling, a guy who can look after tyres as well as he can will be a massive asset to any team.

I find that offensive Danny. He's still the same guy!

I'd love to see this happen, Felipe to return and whoop everybody's asses! As much as I'd like to see him return this year, I doubt it'll happen.

Kubi to Renault-Check!

Another key driver in the 2010 driver market confirmed. Good luck to him. I do sort of like Kubica, he's a good driver. Hopefully Renault will solve their problems and produce a quick car in 2010.

I'm not sure on Grosjean's future though. I said this on ten tenths that with Flabbio gone Renault can hire 2 solid drivers at last. Before it was a good driver in Alonso and one weak one in Piquet/Grosjean who they knew unless strange circumstances occured would never beat Alonso so not to frighten him and have another scenario like McLaren '07.

But as I say, now he's gone, and Fernando is too, that won't happen. Sure, Renault will want a French driver in a French car, but they'd be foolish to turn down the likes of Kovalainen or Glock espacially when they are on the market.

MegaFon and Vitaly Petrov to be announced next. You heard it here somewhere around ninth.

Honestly, I hope they take Glock. Glock deserves a ride. He's cool.

There are some pictures of Team US F1's shack on the Interwebs. They look like they're making an effort. They have people who know how to use a PC and draw a pretty little multi-colored car in the cute little program. So that's a good start.

Manor are virgins. They'll unveil all that and more sometime soon.

Bit late to this - Kubica to Renault eh - hope they don't let him down as badly as BMW have consistently done. He's a very good driver - one of my top 5 in the current F1 crop I think.

I think Glock deserves better than Toyota & Renault are that! I think I'm right in saying that if Vitaly Petrov gets a drive next year, which I think he will, he'll be the 1st ever Russian F1 driver!

+1. I never thought I'd be saying this, but I hope Reno show good pace next season, if only for Kubica to show his mettle. I'd have liked it more if Kubica had joined Ferrari/Red Bull/ Macca.
