5P33D3V1L 0 Report post Posted December 23, 2009 ...my love for Formula 1 has reignited and my passion for the sport is stronger than ever. I don't like the rule changes, I dislike the man, thought his tactics to win were dirty and hated the way he won several championships in result of a superior car. But for some reason, I'm so glad he's back and just the prospect of Michael, Lewis, Jenson, Fernando, Felipe, and possibly Vettel in competitive cars fighting for the championship has put my excitement through the roof! So just wondering if anyone felt the same? If the return of Michael has reignited their passion for the sport? For some reason 2009 was a bit of a bore for me, yes Brawn GP was a great story but, not having a Ferrari or a Mclaren regularly at the front just didn't feel right. It just wasn't the same. But 2010 is looking like its going to be one of those unforgettable seasons! Also Kobayashi is driving for Sauber! What more do i want! Won't any one find it weird and slightly nostalgic that the Schumacher name and Senna name is back in F1 again...?

HandyNZL 1 Report post Posted December 23, 2009 Oh its going to be great. Even without him, the driver pairings were looking good. If only there was overtaking too. Maybe they should switch to 2008 spec rear wings? Dribs: You're not supposed to take Viagra daily....no matter what Mrs Dribs says....

HandyNZL 1 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 Huh? I was referring to the Lotus Ayrton drove versus the pseudo-Lotus that will be on the grid next year. The analogy would be complete if Bruno were driving for them, but he aint, so it isn't, so..... Merry Christmas!!

Kopite Girl 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 Let's see if he's still brilliant. Exactly. I don't doubt he is. But for sure his name alone carries a standard. Brilliant is what we're waiting to see. Magical is what he is and no doubt. Welcome back, Michael.

Being a Kimi and JV fan however, the season wouldn't be perfect until both of them were in cars as well. Hopefully JV gets the Renault seat, and Kimi comes back in 2011 for RBR. Then that would be a perfect season for me. 6 WDCs on the grid would be epic.

JHS 1 Report post Posted December 24, 2009 F*#k I'm excited! I'm buying tix to the Melbourne GP now that I know Schumi will race. I never got to see him race. Same here, hopefully for the British GP! Schumi was my all time favourite driver even after he retired. For me, these moaning cry-babies never came close. Roll on the start of the 2010 season. We say it every year that '[enter year here] should be the best for many years', but this time, I firmly believe that 2010 will be the case.
