The phantom wing problem strikes a second new team. Heikki had a small shunt and damaged the wing, and yep, you guessed it, no spares till tomorrow so their day was cut short.

But I love Heikki's new helmet so it's all good.

I really think there is a strong chance for six teams to trade wins..everyone looks equally strong....there will be tracks that depend on the fuel consumption. and sometracks which they don't.....I hope it wont be a snorefest, a bit like last season...

WOW, so the Hulk in his Williams has gone faster than Alonso. Williams always test high on fuel, so maybe they just wanted to put in a stint on low fuel and see where they at

Damn if that is the case. Not a big Williams fan but gotta say good going.

In my considered opinion, it looks like the fastest car is either the Ferrari, or the Red Bull, or the McLaren, or the Williams or the Torro Rosso or the Renault or the Mercedes. It's one of them. Just see if I'm not right.

Anyone in anything can go faster than anyone in anything else if one is any good at all in any reasonable car with small amounts of fuel.

Difficult to judge. McLaren seems to be quick on old tyres, but Ferrari seems to get more of a boost on new boots. Red Bull possibly a bit fragile, ditto Toro Rosso. Lotus a bit of a handful according to Jarno. Virgin not screwed together properly yet. Sauber and Williams solid. Renault anonymous. Force India neat and tidy. Some will win races and some won't. But at least they'll turn up and have a go.

Top 8 cars from 7 different teams all within 0.439s! And Virgin not far behind! Could be a cracking season.

Yes......Its gona be good....

with all the cars looking almost the same, things would be far more economical if they all outsourse the chassis from one common supplier and rebrand them....:mf_tongue:
