Alright my fellow TF1'ers...we've got the hot chicks thread, and we have the hot boys thread for the laydees (and Ben), and we have the joke thread....so three threads full of smut basically....

So here's a new thread where you can cheer up your fellow TF1'er by posting a video of something that made you laugh...could be stand-up, clip from a sitcom, whatever (your baby sister texting on her phone and falling into a pool because she's not looking where she is going...what a laff)

So, I shall start with something that is classic Kiwiana...Billy T James....this is footage of a skit show he had back in the '80's on NZ tele...Billy T James sadly died in '91....

Any of those videos from Gervais are great. One of my favourites is one called "The best leaflet in the world" but it wasn't suitable

First favourite comedian was Paul Merton. He forms the most surreal ideas and delivers them in the most deadpan way, and after watching countless episodes of Have I Got News For You it's clear that there aren't many comedians who can get to a joke quicker than him. Probably one of the best panellists/improvisers ever, watch how he gets out of this:

Another ridiculously good panellist is David Mitchell. His comedy is always based on logical observations and often delivered in an angry rant, one of the smartest comedians out there:

Frankie Boyle is great for shock value comedy, he'll say anything and you can't help but laugh:

Bill Hicks (no need to say much else):

Sean Lock is just the weirdest kind of genius:

(you have to watch it all)

Ricky Gervais is a really good stand-up:

Last, Stewart Lee is just sublime and completely de-constructs comedy in a way I haven't seen before:

In the second clip, the guy getting questioned (to make him say yes or no) is a Member of Parliment...at the time he and another MP had a little scuffle at the Government Building, with a couple of fists thrown. Now, what other countries MP's would let themselves get ripped by a bunch of comedians...and join in? Mine, baby, coz thats how we roll...gangsta...

"I can't... I can't... I can't" And they say I'm negative... uh, just kidding, pal...

It's G-rated so it probably doesn't belong here, but it not only made me smile but - good heavens - made me laugh out loud! Not quite the odd originality of William Wegman but pleasurable nonetheless. '

By the way, if you can understand what he's trying to say, you're a better person than I am.

Saw that on Russel Howard. Funny and tragic at the same time; sums up the so called EDL.
