The points would be

1. Massa (159)

2. Vettel (116)

3. Button (115)

4. Alonso (101)

5. Webber (98)

6. Hamilton (76)

7. Rosberg (74)

8. Schumacher (65)

9. Petrov (27)

10. Kobayashi (24)

11. Heidfeld (11)

12. Sutil (4)

13. di Resta (2)

14. Pérez (2)

15. Buemi (2)

16. Alguersuari (2)

Theory: there are three types of guys who deserve championships. Consistency guys. Guys who take a bad car and score points. Guys who are held back by team orders. You see those three would all finish 5-6 and it would be like a win, because if the goal is consistency over win you wanna be P5. If the goal is to maximize points in a bad car, getting to P5 is incredible with Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren having six cars you beat two of them. If the goal is to BE SABOTAGED BY THE IDIOT WHOREMOTHER STEFANO DOMENICALLI then to just finish fifth is a win against all odds and against a terrible forum that hates you. So I think this is a good system for sure.

For sure,

Massa

(I need more homework).

I think Alonso is saving Domenicalli's a$$ in some way. The car is utter rubbish and I can't believe he's best of the rest. It won't last long but the season is now over for them and they are already focused on 2012.

Yes I did. And what's more, I told you in the way of a vision whilst you were asleep. Another name for that might be dream, but that's not the point.

I agree with Mike, it makes sense (ish). FYI, I checked my medications as well. I checked the last shipment of viagra I got from a totally trustworthy internet shop that were so kind as to send me thousands of mails without even knowing me.

@Adams: That was easy. In fact, I am sending my proposal to the FIA as we speak. It basically keeps all the rules from this year, but adds a few more, inlcuding points awarded to the best use of body deodorant. Different points are awarded for the different "zones".. Zones are defined right before or right after the race by Whitting. Extra points awarded for how good it smells.

The points will be awarded by a secret group of francmasons whcih have no obligation whatsoever to explain why did they award the points for.

Also, as to improve overtaking, a driver will be elected for inmediate termination by a group of political comissars from the former USSR, led by Petrov's manager (That is why I propose it only for 2012 onwards, when probably Vitaly will be replaced bby Senna/Kubica, I don't want it to be unfair to any driver). Each driver can request no more than twice each race that the TV cameras show the Manager's face, so as to judge by her icy smile whether they might be targets or not.

I think it makes for a very simple, easy-to-understand rules system.

This is probably the worst thread I ever had to open... Why why did I do it? What compelled me?

I can make worse posts.

Instead of DRS they should just have a mandatory overtaking rule. Here is my thought process. The races should be conducted like this: at the end of each lap the last place driver is obligated to pass all the cars ahead of himself and be in the lead for the next lap. And they will do this until the race is over. It will generate many overtakes, at least 23 per lap until cars retire. It will also help sponsor exposure which will allow small teams to get big money and then they will be less small. Now this is only for cars on the lead lap. If a car goes a lap down somehow, the driver can earn his lap back by running the track for one lap on foot, but if his car loses more laps in the pit lane while he is doing this, he must go to DTM with the cheating infected vaginal discharge Michael Schumacher.

For sure,

Massa

10 pts should be awarded to a driver that is able to finish a race and be classified in a HRT.

10 pts should be awarded to a driver taken out by Hamilton
