lipstick79 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2018 It appears that, maybe Boullier was NOT the right man to replace Ron, at McLaren. Still EARLY days though, Honda WERE Ron`s call. BEFORE his exit. Ron always had his eye on the big picture. Ferrari, LONGEST F1 team, second to Mclaren. Ferrari,1 of the fastest ROAD cars. McLaren F1 road car, HELD fastest road car - in the 90`s UNDER Ron. Notice the pattern, under Ron
Sakae 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2018 Boullier was never intended as a replacement for RD. Brown replaced RD. Boullier's title is a Racing Director (track operations). Eric cannot be considered as a Team Principal (TP) by any stretch of imagination. There are several directors at his level working there and from outside it is hard to say who does what. Subject with you has already came up in the past, as I recall. If you however know that my understanding is incorrect, please state so.
