As Matt Damon playing Jason Bourne so famously said, look what they take from you. What they make you do.

Seb looks good. If he's balding I hope it's his choice to stay that way. Well it obviously is, I mean treatments do exist but maybe he doesn't want to do it.

I've been convinced for ages that Lulu is going bald. The weaves and long hair mask it pretty good though. Maybe that's why he wears the stupid clothing that he does... to take our eyes off his thinning hair 🤣

I like when people leave it to itself. Don't try to hide it, or make it bigger than what it is. We all getting older according to calendar, and our bodies are aware of it. So, get on with the program, I say.

I am not sure what happened in last month or two, but I think it's probably temporary situation, I hope. Seb usually has good personal style, thus I think it had to be for some unplanned (health?) reason he had to shave his head. Fact is, it looks terrible, and it will take time to get use to it.

It's no secret that things aren't going too well for the marque and the Stroll takeover didn't work wonders. A Chinese company, BYD Auto Company, is said to be interested in a takeover.

I must be the only one around who had his doubts from day one that this is good match. AM + Stroll cloths.

Prof. Pinker of Harvard University (Linguistic Psychology) not too long ago complained that these days we are communicating in 280 characters, which contributes to a lot of misunderstanding. I've doubted him, but you, Ms. Lipstick, are making a liar of me.

Thanks.

The Chinese takeover story is BS. I don't believe it for a second. We Aussies can smell Chinese BS a mile away and have been wise to the rubbish their fake news factories push out.

For instance, my Facebook is flooded with ads clearly paid for by the CCP saying the Aussie dollar is going to crash and to invest in the Chinese dollar lol.

I would welcome a Chinese driver in this series. It could be a boost for series popularity in Asia. It would be a good thing.

Really? Iconic brand?

Across the sea, Honda IS an iconic brand.
However reunitin WITH Mclaren WERE a failed project.
There STILL remains hope in the Red Bull team that Max WILL finally deliver, what IS expected/hoped.
To revive the iconic brand, of Honda.

Does Vulkan comes with a shoehorn so Clarkson can get in, or iconic accessories of that kind are at a cost over and above 1.6 MM?

Good things are happening at AM I can feel it. And the Chinese story is again BS. I suspect a Chinese company wants to get their name in the lights so leaked a story that's false. Or, they contacted AM, AM said no, and then they twist that to say they are in negotiations lol.

Stroll didn't buy into AM and go full to the pedal max to then sell the company to the Chinese. From a logical standpoint, it's total rubbish.

To be fair, KM, as I understand it, it was someone in US who does reads Chinese financial news, and where that person discovered short article eluding to an interest from Chinese side to join F1 in some capacity. That's all. It seems that it was subsequently UK side, which blew whole story out of proportions, as it is so customary on the island these days.

Mr. Stroll is not only "enthusiast" of the F1, but in the background he is a businessman and a member of an investment organisation which specialises in making money. Buying low, and selling for high profits. Let's don't forget that. I know nothing about his plans, but based on observation how post-industrial, Age of the Money, which is the age of our time, is operating, I would not exclude possibility that he would not miss on a chance to make a buck. This is not anymore case of American rich fans of baseball, who purchased their beloved teams, and holding on them for love of the game, despite loosing big money year after year. I am rather concerned what will happen to F1 when financial institutions are getting increasingly involved. It started with CVC (until today I am not clear what was their positive contribution to the sport), now Mr. Stroll, and of course team Williams which is also owned by some obscure financial entity.

I do continue to think that the automakers, and automakers alone should form a new racing series, invest their money, and they alone should own each one team of two cars, and run their own rules.Just as American professional series do. Forget Brawn and his crowd at London, forget FiA and whoever manipulates game in the background, and turn clock back to real GP racing, as it started some 100 years ago. Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Honda, Ferrari, Renault, Toyota, Volkswagen, Mercedes, BMW, Chinese and Indian auto-companies, ... there are plenty potential sources for creating a truly international club of companies. This idea however needs new blood, new thinking, and courage to make it happen. In nighties MB' Chairman wanted exactly that, but someone in the background promised Ferrari and RBR special privileges, if they will sabotage what was essentially German plan for independent series of the F1. Those two teams complied, and rest is history.

You got to remember that Stroll is first and foremost there for his son to succeed. He didn't do all of this just to make money. So it's not just a business, it's a long long game to basically prop his son up and give him the best shot at winning.

Yep Brad I saw that article too and haha, we both said bu||sh|t hahaha.

I hope this isn't the start of the Brit onslaught in some anti-Vettel campaign or something. AM is a beloved brand and I hope it stays out of the Chinese hands. Seeing Land Rover owned by Tata is silly. I guess the companies don't consider who will buy them out, rather who is paying the most money.

But rest assured, AM is safe under Stroll and if the Chinese want to get in on the action, I'm sure HAAS or another back end team will gladly take their money.

Yeah, all that, but don't forget that no-one will tell you full truth about business transactions in the background. They will dance around the questions, and use strong language as a linguistic credibility tag, but in reality, who knows. I am not loosing any sleep over the article, knowing after many years with F1 media, that story can sometimes change twice a day, therefore one has to take it with some reserve. I do agree that owner has done it for his son, and any new ownership could almost certainly make changes in drivers lineup, so sell it is not in cards. Not now. For how long? I am not sure, but check history of this team, and how many times it had been sold and re-lunched again under new name in last 30 years. Love of sport I feel is somehow missing, but money aspect shines through and through in team's past.
