Has The World Media Gone Crazy?

Recommended Posts

Every single site has a headline in the tone "schumacher enjoys hollow victory".

every bloody site implies ferrari is somehow to blame. they had to take all the abuse on track and off it. why are we calling it a boycott by michelin cars? they didnt boycott, they were incapable of participating. A boycott is when you decide not to do something you can do. Michelin said they were not capable of competing. journalists without the slightest idea what they are talking about seem to be lifting stories of major F1 publications. everyone loves to hate Bernie and FIA and Ferrari, but its really gone too far this time.

the quality of reporting is staggeringly bad not just from the U.S. media who just need a scapegoat for what they consider a national affront. They dont know its a golden oppurtunity to mock the french and use freedom tyres or something. but the same immaturity from the BBC, major newspapers is amazing.

People who read other languages, are the reactions similar everywhere? is the whole world crazy.

They might be biased, but F.1 is really going into s##t bajo!Open your eyes!!!You are always so factual why don't you open your eyes! What happened yesterday has been shameful!

I agree Michelin has made a big mistkae but the big problem is not Michelin..is FIA!!!They are in the middle of a big politcal war, they side with Ferrari in this war and this is what is happening. We are talking about BIG SUMS of money so no surprise about conspiracy theory!

FIA has turned down the chicane request just because of Ferrari and FIA has refused to force the team race with low downforce, they could have well done it!!!

FIA clearly wanted them to make a poor showing so they could have been blamed for this, cause I refuse to think that the FIA could have handled really the situation so badly!!!!.Bernie didn't want the GP at Indy anymore,he tried to switch to Las Vegas, so why is he so furious?!?!

I agree Kaciaj but it is not Ferrari's fault. Michelin supplied faulty tyres. When the FIA offered conditions under which the Michelin-teams could run with these faulty tyres, they rejected them. Blame the tyre supplier and its teams. Ferrari had nothing to do with it.

Ferrari are not to blame. British media tend to do that to people they know the public would hate. Ferrari have been unethical most times so that seems like a logical target for them to 'trash talk'. I know I would. Ferrari does look like a decent scape goat other than the FIA.

Wake up silly! you and many others have swallowed the Ferrari bait. There're the scapegoats in this whole thing, apart from Michelin stuffing up the weekend for the 7 teams involved, do you honestly believe they' re even going to try to put a show on when they'd be running their equipment for nothing (zero points!). As if Frankie Williams is going to risk millions of dollars of machinary not to mention put hard race mileage on new engines for nothing, so you can enjoy a race.

The chicane and a race was always on, but the money and maintaing an advantage for Magney was uppermost in their thoughts.

There you go, thats what I reckon!
