Karta 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 Those statistics are irrelevant. At best could say Button was without win from less than 5 gp's i bet where he had a chance to win it. Anyways, they want him because he is fast and young. Also suppose attracts sponsors. And i think he would be cheapest of the fast drivers atm (Alonso value went up from WDC i bet and before this season he was not that great, KR already turned down far bigger offer, MS does not need commenting i think), not to mention only one available for next year

Jenson_Rules 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2005 Very interesting article in this weeks autosport. And nearly all the ex f1 drivers asked have said its impossible for a driver to win a race when they dont have race winning machinery! It is also an almost impossible task to win a race against a dominant car and driver with the machinery of that other driver being far superior!

And nearly all the ex f1 drivers asked have said its impossible for a driver to win a race when they dont have race winning machinery! It is also an almost impossible task to win a race against a dominant car and driver with the machinery of that other driver being far superior! Very difficult but not impossible. Senna won many races in vastly inferior machinery.
