Senna 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 CDG WING MUST WAIT UNTIL 2008 ITV The FIA's hopes of introducing its radical 'Centre Downwash Generating' wing for the 2007 Formula One world championship have been dashed after the Technical Working Group voted against its early inclusion on Friday. The FIA's proposed double-rear CDG wing, designed to reduce the disruptive airflow behind the car, is expected to form part of the 2008 regulations but the governing body had hoped to push it through a year earlier. Although the wing received a positive reception from F1's technical directors it was decided that more development work is needed before it is ready to be introduced. mclarenmatt 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2005 I hate this idea....i belive doing these would make f1 better: 1) Go back to 1998-2000 aero regs 2)slick tyres 3)manual gears 4)no traction control 5)650-700bhp V10 This would make f1 exciting again!
