Senna 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2006 Rubens: 'Honda could challenge Renault' PF1 Honda could be the team challenging Renault for this year's titles, at least that's according to Rubens Barrichello. During this past week's Barcelona test, Barrichello and his team-mate Jenson Button were often mixing it up with the Renault drivers, giving the Brazilian reason to believe that his new team could be in with a shot at this year's titles. However, having said that, he did acknowledge the recent improvements made by McLaren. "Definitely McLaren made a jump but at the moment I think we are on a par with Renault," Barrichello told Autosport. "Some circuits they are better and some we are better, it depends on the track." pumpdoc 2 Report post Posted February 26, 2006 I agree with your post, I'm just saying that Rubens has more cred. than N. Fry or JB because of his past, being a part of Ferrari for all of those winning years gives him better insight to what it take to win and contend for the championships................... Senna 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2006 I agree with your post, I'm just saying that Rubens has more cred. than N. Fry or JB because of his past, being a part of Ferrari for all of those winning years gives him better insight to what it take to win and contend for the championships................... Suffice to say I disagree (the Jacques Villeneuve example). I suspect Jenson will triumph over Rubens as he did over Jacques and Jarno. PS I omitted Sato as he is not a credible 'opponent', perhaps I have been too generous in calling him an opponent: 1 meagre point in the BAR 007 over virtually an entire season is truly dire
Jem of the Shire 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 yes sato appeared to be a much worse driver in 2005 than he was in 2004, when he sometimes matched JB

Today, Pedro de la Rosa completed massive 146 laps of the circuit ....and even with that he is at sharp end...!!! one must take a look at times for laps after laps though !! Gary stopped one time on the circuit, causing red flag...but not because of any sort of engine problem in his modified MP4-20, he stopped because he ran out of fuel...!!! thats what this website says... great job mclaren...go ahead !!!
