Haug denies driver unrest

Norbert Haug has attempted to allay suspicions that not all is well within the silver McLaren-Mercedes camp. Mercedes' 53-year-old racing chief denied claims of unrest within the c#ckpit -- both Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya, it is reported, may be unhappy and both intending to leave the Woking based team for 2007. ''I have spoken to them both,'' Germany's Haug told the 'Sport Informations Dienst' agency, ''and they said they were concentrating on what is important for 2006 before thinking about what comes (in the future).'' The alleged driver unrest follows the McLaren signing of Renault's Fernando Alonso for 2007, and Colombian Montoya's claim that he is therefore on the market. Raikkonen, too, is reportedly either already signed up to switch to Ferrari next year, or now even more motivated to make the move official. He was quoted recently as criticising Mercedes' progress with its new V8. But Haug says: ''In formula one there is always speculation and always criticism. The truth is, Kimi and Juan Pablo will do their talking on the race track.''

Germany's Bild newspaper, meanwhile, claimed that the team's unreliable 2.4 litre engine will miss rivals' pace by around 20 horse power at the start of the 2006 season.

It made want to become a farmer!

I used to work on tractors and when the 'pulls' would come to the fairgrounds farmers would bring in their tractors that were due for an overhaul and have us bump up the power so they could race them in the 'stock' class then have them overhauled :D

We get the hint, Narain fan!! :D No more tractors. :P

I like tractors

:P

actually,it was entertaining ,while it lasted

Just our part in informing the masses
