So tell me what will happen when World Cup starts .....

England will probably make quarter or semi finals, and the media will destroy them even though they actually put up quite a good performance. What makes it worse is that our team this year, on paper, should be able to beat anyone, but I highly doubt we'll win the cup, I think brazil will win again

Did anyone request you to move this thread, NO, you know why because everyone was enjoying the discussion, and then you just charge in and move the topic which was clearly still formula 1 related.

well back on the subject of F1 (sort of) i did email ITV about their biased commentary though i think i ranted a wee bit (moi, never) so theyll probably put it straight in the bin - or on the dartboard

back to the media - i dont even think ill buy a paper throught the world cup cos itll just be pages & pages of how wonderful the team is & then when they get knocked out itll just be about how crap they were, how the manager should go (oops he already is) or how they were robbed

suppose i could always buy the irish papers but there even more rubbish

for what its worth ill go for France to win the world cup as i back them for everything - they are still in it arent they
