Why can't i let it go? Why do i state my opinion, only then to find that i want to repeat myself in a vain attempt to make my opinion be heard? No, they're definitely not referring to those things. Most girls (and men, probably) get really annoying after a while unless they're reasonably smart and sensible, so yes I'd happily sleep with them but I can't imagine having any deep and meaningful conversations with them.

I am not sure they are poor at what they do. They all have reasonable-ish voices, certainly the music industry is littered with worse singers, past, present and future, no doubt. As you say, they seem to be quite succesful, so they must appeal to a certain demographic. Personally, I don't like any of their songs, but then I don't like much of the chart music for the past couple of decades anyway

I think the main agenda of the boys here, Steph, is to demonstrate that we're not altogether very shallow. I know you weren't suggesting we are, it's all just a bit of fun afterall. But the mere fact that a gaggle of people have chosen to interract on all manner of subjects and do it, on the whole, in quite a sophisticated and respectful manner, tells me that the majority here, male and female are a cut above your average anyway. Perhaps that is a pedestal too high but it's my genuine belief. The shallow amongst humans are quite content to let the trash of popular culture wash over them and shag the stupidest of people. The rest are socialising decently, or on line, searching for like minds.
