If the FIA were sensible about reducing costs, they would limit testing and aero development as I have suggested inumerable times on this forum but appears they have other motives in mind. No surprise there either.

I think most rules are fair in F1 if they're the same for everyone. Its not the equity that I care about, rather whether it'll lead to good racing, overtaking and more emphasis on the driver. Dan's suggestion is a better way to cut costs, while at the same time doing those more important things above, than the 2-race engine rule.

if anything it should be harsher so your drivers dont get "unfair" quaily postions.
