ykickamoocow 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2007 I didnt notice this at the Spyker launch but their new cars livery looks a awful lot like the new Ferrari and especially from a distance i think the commentators will have a hard time telling them apart. I remember Luca De Montezemolo saying they had lightened the newer Ferraris from the dark red of old to the new almost orange because the darker red showed up too dark on TV. Autumnpuma 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2007 The current car will look red on TV (unless you're drib, then it'll look dark gray). Orange needs to be a light shade, like Arrows or even Albers' helmet. If you go darker, the RGB of the TV will shift the orange to Red and, bingo, four Ferraris. A good gauge would be your monitor...it's the same RGB as a TV. If you look at the shot here with Albers driving....his helmet is orange and the car is red. That's how it will look on TV.
