Alonso is strange in Practice, he never seems to really show his hand. Good job that fuel pump gremlin showed before it became a major problem tbh, they should be thankful that it did occur then and not in quali, and heh looks like McLaren are closer to ferrari than some people think.

Good for him. It will only help Him improve in confidence, and that will be devestasting for McLaren's opponents and great for his career. It is good that he is pushing Alonso along, its the kind of situation every team dreams about, as having drivers both pushing to their absolute limit is what makes for excellent results (and I think it will do fernando some good to have someone alongside him who is actually capable of pushing him)
