One thing good I will say about the States is that your Muslim population is very well integrated into society, whereas ours isn't, hence all the violence here. Muslims here are incredibly poor and have too few opportunities, which just breeds extremism of one form or another. On top of that the Muslim leaders here are useless. That's kinda stating the obvious though! Actually Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz are even worse than Bush I think. Rumsfeld should have been sacked years ago. I think they get a lot of unjustified criticism too. It's not his fault there are fanatics in the world blowing people up. Having said that, America deliberately went against the wishes of almost all other countries in the world, and the UN, when invading Iraq, and has ended up making us all less safe as a result. As I was telling Mike a while ago, even the official American National Intelligence Estimate, produced by all US intelligence agencies combined, says that Americans are less safe because of Iraq.
