I think the Bridgestone tyres played a key role in Michael’s Malaysian success. Bridgestone has developed a very good tyre that utterly dominated at a Bridgestone circuit – Australia – and still won at what was traditionally a Michelin circuit – Malaysia. I really hope that Michelin can close the gap and that the other teams can improve as well as most of us want a competitive season…

well its nice to know that M$ has to be light to get .6sec ahead of everyone

His light fuel level only accounted for half of that gap, so he still would have got pole easly.

yea but if Alonso had not of gone off he whould of come close to beating M$ with the same fule.

Perhaps the Ferrari is just the best car on the grid and has been for some time – thus its no great achievement to get a pole in one. Especially not in the past two seasons were fuel comes into play…
