Jamie 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Im gonna throw this senario in the bag now! Renault: Alonso Webber (they are mates so no problems as at Mclaren) Mclaren: Hamilton Fisichella (they dont have 2 worry about who is #1, that will take care of itself) Red Bull: Coultard Kovalinan (adds a bit of youth to the team, which i think they need)
elgo 1 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 My bet is: Renault: Alonso Piquet McLaren: Hamilton Kovalainen Red Bull: DC Webbo His house: Fisichella

mikathegreat2 2 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Hrere are my predictions. Be warned, these are very optimistic. Ferrari: Kimi Massa BMW Sauber: Nick Heidfeld Kubica/Rosberg Renault: Alonso Kovy Williams: Rosberg/Narain (depends if Nico move to Sauber) Nakajima Red Bull: DC Klien Toyota: Trulli Zonta STR: Vettel Liuzzi Honda: Button some GP2 driver Honda are testing Force India: Sutil Yamamoto Super Aguri: Sato Davidson/Rubens McLaren: Hamilton de la Rosa Prodrive: Montagny Webber
Elizabeth Sterling 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Not a bad list though I must say there are some parts I can't see happening. The BMW driver lineup has already been confirmed for the next year as unchanged and DLR has said he won't go to Prodrive. Also, I can't see Mclaren taking on Paffett as they've already overlooked him once and probably won't want to have to nurse another absolute rookie, especialyl one that hasn't shown the same sort of potential as Lewis. JonnyWeir 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Let's forget for a minute I'm Australian and a Red Bull fan. I know there's a tendency among the aforementioned groups of people to over-state Mark's ability as a driver, but, if we're being realistic, he consistently out-qualifies a pretty but unspecial car, he challenged for podiums and wins this season, he's got an incredible amount of experience and any monkey can see his talent is just growing as he improves his racecraft. I think Webber to McLaren, Alonso to Red Bull. I'm just remembering what Lonsy said about Renault not being his first choice - in my mind, that leaves Williams or Red Bull. And it's just my gut feeling about where he'll end up. But if that happens I will make a banner for our GP saying "Formula One Cars - Must be Over Ten to Ride. F**k off Alonso." KoolMonkey 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Alonso's not going to Red Bull. Their form of late is a joke at best. Why would anyone want to goto that team apart from getting a paycheck? It's bad enough we have Honda and Toyota. No one apart from rookies or people without drives in other teams head there. I don't see Fisi ending up in a car anywhere, unless they need a demure No2 at Renault if Alonso goes there. Otherwise his time in F1 is done. I don't know why, but some F1 sites like PF1 keep harping on about Kimi's Ferrari contract ending in 2008 or was it 2009. Anyway, they seem to promote the theory that it's only a matter of time before Alonso will head there at the expense of Kimi. Fat chance of that happening. It's not going to. Schumi even in an article I read today, said basically the same thing, that nothing was going to change there for awhile. If Nico goes to McLaren I'd love to see him whoop Lewis. But since Uncle Ron loves Lewis so much, I doubt Keke would let Nico goto that team. Does anyone here seriously believe Ron when he talks about driver equality? He's harped on it so much in fact, it reminds me of people when they lie, telling you the same thing over and over as if you didn't hear it the first time. BMW driver lineup won't change. Ferrari driver lineup will stay the same. STR have their 2 drivers confirmed. McLaren ? Renault ? Force India ? Toyota ? Honda (Rubens ?) Super Aguri ? Williams ? So there you have it. Too many ? to really be able to say what's going to happen just yet.

Grabthaw the Hammerslayer 4 Report post Posted November 3, 2007 My Predictions: Hamilton will shock everyone by marrying Beyonce and selling the pictures to Now magazine. Alonso will take a year out commentating for TVS - TV Siberia, but will quite after 3 months, claiming that his fellow commentator was given better microphones than him. Raikkonen will drink a lot to celebrate his WDC, will put on 10 stone as a result and not fit into the car (a la Mansell). Kubica will have a tragic eyebrow-plucking incident and be unfit to drive until Monza. DC will claim again that he will win the WDC this year and come 9th as usual Button will offer his services to McLaren and then discover he still is under contract to Honda, end up paying another
