McLaren and ferrari will continue to dominate, hopefully with McLaren coming out on top with Heikki taking the WDC

Renault to get back to winning form, but I do not feel they will have the ultimate speed to challenge for the titles

Honda to continue to suck, prompting jenson to do another one of his contract moments

Red Bull to improve reliability but still lack the ultimate speed to move out of the midfield

Much of the same from STR, Toyota, Force India, and Super Aguri

2008 will end:

WDC -Raikkonen

2nd Kubica (I like the kid)

3rd Hamilton

4th Heidfeld

5th Massa

6th Alonso

7th Button or Rosberg (most probably Nico if Honda doesn't fix those cucumbers)

But if reality, spying or the circus that is F1 has anything to do with it nobody will know anything until Brazil and that's how it should be.

WCC - Ferrari - Y? 'Cos it has the strongest driver pairing and Massa now knows who's in charge and will do well to remember it. Every Gunner needs a wingman and it's about time Kimi had one. ;)

Here are my preliminary predictions for the 2008 season...

WDC

1. Kimi Raikonnen

2. Lewis Hamilton

3. Felipe Massa

4. Fernando Alonso

5. Heikki Kovalainen

6. Jenson Button

7. Nelson Piquet Jnr

8. Nick Heidfeld

WCC

1. Ferrari

2. Mclaren

3. Renault

4. BMW

5. Honda

6. RBR

7. Williams

8. Toyota

9. Force India

10. Toro Rosso

11. Super Aguri

There we go, these are my first predictions, which will undoubtedly change after the new cars are tested. They depend on whether Honda and Renault make a dramatic improvement and if Mclaren don't suffer their curse of even numbered years ending in subsequent failure!

McLaren won the title in 1998 and that was an even year :P

yes but recently their cars in the 04 and 06 seasons have been rubbish by their standards, and their cars in the 05 and 07 seasons have been good. I am secretly hoping this trend continues.

But as a Button/Honda fan, you would have nothing to gain from McLaren having a bad year, your guys are at the opposite end of the grid xD

Yeah but Honda do the opposite, they have bad odd years (05,07) and good even years (04,06)

Quite the opposite...FI will win the WCC after the 10 other teams get DQ. No, not disqualified, Dairy Queen. They will go eat lunch at Dairy Queen, and Bernie will ban them for not eating at the official restaurant of Formula 1: The Happy Hooker, a fish shack in the middle of nowhere.

Indeed, not quite sure where all these votes for Force India are coming from. If past history is anything to go by, they will continue to vy for last place with Super Aguri. Even Fisi is not *that* good.

I don\'t agree with that. Considering that everyone was talking before 2006 about how good honda\'s car was gonna be in 2006 and how they where gonna be a major contender, I would say that they underwhelmed in 2006, scoring just 1 win which they lucked into anyway. I also believe that its gonna be hard to make an instant impact after the awful car they had in 2007.

Yes but they made a massive improvement on the 05 car with the 06 car! So they did improve massively! They just weren't quite good enough to consistently beat Renault and Ferrari!

True, but I also like to judge a teams year by what they predicted to do, and Honda predicted bigger things for 2006 which by my money makes it a disappointing season for them. It was nice to see jenson get his first win, I just feel they could have done better than they did.

I must admit I've placed Force India higher up than I probably should.

The optimism I had that Fisi would get them better results, seems to have been dampened somewhat as I still can't see where points are coming from.

In F1, it's points that win prizes.

Yep, that or a court case.

 That wouldn't surprise me at all after last season...

I'll soon make my predictions (the best and most accurate ones) :P

BMW is my favourite team but the new car is crap, it reminds me the 90's.

Crap, crap, crap... Will be the slowest BMW ever.

Except when they say "who was the best driver at BMW in 2007"...... :P

Nope, just faster. Not necessarily the same thing. Take away the car trouble, and they were pretty much equal. Except, that Kubi has future, and Rambo has the past...
