So he still has many years of racing left , dont know why he retired - he says personal reasons. But I am sure many would want him back to the grid. http://www.totalf1.com/view-article.php?newsid=235868 Regards

SIDEPOD 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 What if....what if...Since Brawn has turned up at Honda. With Rubens already there, they just need Schumi and it will be like old times again....of course old as in like when Schumi started his career in Ferrari and the car was a dog! But on the bright side Rubens can go back to playing Schumi's Bit#h! Button of course would go to McLaren to form an all British team...
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Hell , I don't mind saying the same things again!!!! Both form & class are permanent for Michael! Schuey, make a comeback & blow the puny f*ckers out of the water!!
SIDEPOD 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 found this funny... The German showed early in the morning that he has lost none of his speed, immediately setting fast times. "I think there is a guy called Michael. It looks as though he's got a talent. He will make his way to F1," joked Red Bull's David Coulthard.
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Why do I get the feeling that Montezemolo was behind Schumi's retirement? If yes, somebody pop a cap in Luca's a$$ & bring back Michael!!!

That's high praise indeed, coming from a guy who sabotaged Michael by braking all of a sudden in 98 (or 99?)
Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Ferrari's new test driver looks quick. Nah, I thought everybody knew, it was actually Kimi...
Sudarshan the shumi fan 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 maybe we should have him test at the end of the testing period, he will show us the true pace of the 08 cars
Rainmaster 7 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 maybe we should have him test at the end of the testing period, he will show us the true pace of the 08 cars No, if you want that you'll have to bring back Senna & Clark. Seriously though, good to see Michael still has *it*, no doubt if he stayed at Ferrari for 07' he would be champion (again). Oh well I suppose he'll have to make do with only seven . dribbler 6 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Lovely to see, very nostalgic. Keeping a level head though, i bet things would have been a little tighter with Lewis and/or Fernando at the helms of a Macca. That and if Felipe or Kimi had been against him. I wonder how he felt? Did it get the juices going again? No, is my guess.
Elizabeth Sterling 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Eh. So he lapped faster than Pedro (strike 1) in a test session (strike 2) whilst lots of people are on holiday (strike 3). The guy's really fast but you're reading way too much in to this, y'all.

Come on Elizabeth! The guy was swimming with the whales while all the rest where competing/had active role in testing, development etc in F1 this year! Mentally even, he should have been considerably slower since he decided not to race any more. Yet it seems like he never left! Today was a good present to his fans I 'd say! Still though, it shows he's still there or thereabouts, let the Schumi fans have their moment
Elizabeth Sterling 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2007 Hehe, guess so. Still, often a break from F1 can refocus a driver, Lauda's comeback is proof of this. For what it's worth (and I never thought I'd say this) it's nice to see he's still enjoying driving.
