admin 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 what the hell is fi? Force India, it seems Fisichella got the seat.
Eric 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 Looks like Fi has obtained a carbonated sign of some sort. Sounds like a cool innovation.
whiskee 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 So Fisico got it. Mallya wanted experience and he got it. I'm happy to see him continue in F1. Ralf is now officially out and surely his pride stops him from becoming a test driver for any team... well, funny how things go.
dribbler 6 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 Will Giancarlo re-discover a bit of the old fire, driving the nuts off of a dog, or will he shrug his shoulders and concentrate on his grapes, i wonder? Either way, it's good to have him in the car because we can use him as a barometer against new talent.
LabradoRacer 2 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 What the? Didn't Mallya say he wants fast drivers?
Bro. 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I thought that Klien would get the ride and i actually hope he does get the ride cos his young, experienced but still Unproven in so many ways though. But although they wont be title contenders, I think FIndia are in the strongest position they have been in for a long time (unknow include Spyker and MF1 and Jordan though) With Gascoyne (Mark Smith joined didnt he?) and Ferrari power and with an experineced driver who can steer the team foward and a Young Gun who really does want/need to proove himself next season and with a fresh injection of funds could be a Team to watch... cristiano84 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I hoped they could sign Klien. He was the better choice but he still can end up at Super Aguri
Bro. 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 I'd perfer Anthony at Super Aguri. he deserves another chance. He had Sato's Measure in the latter part of last year. And Klien goes to Force India with Sutil and Fisi and Liuzzi drive in A1GP as team mates for Forca Italia...

Agreed, It is definatly a team to look out for... I think it will surprise quite a few people Well that's that then. Has Sutil been confirmed? I can't find a news article saying Fisi is signed for F1... I have however found he signed a contract with them, but they can still reject him and choose another guy... Sutil has always been semi-confirmed and now since their is no real other opening i think he has that seat..
elgo 1 Report post Posted December 16, 2007 Good for Fizzy. Not that I loove him,but I dislike Ralf,Klien and Rodriguez. What the? Didn't Mallya say he wants fast drivers? Oh,the irony!
Eric 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2007 By the way, Fisi hasn't been confirmed, in case any of you care. Well, that's what all my sources say, at least.
Bro. 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2007 You do remember when Jordan were the 3rd/4th best team for a few years, right? Oh yeah absolutely,I'm talking about 03 onwards with Jordan not 91-02 But for next season I am expecting Super Aguri and maybe Toyota To battle it out for the final row of the grid rather than Just Force India. I do think they will go O.K next year and Fisi if he does get the seat is a good driver when his in a shabby car or when his not really expected to deliver like this past year at Renault for instance was Classic Fisi at his Finest. The Start of the Year Fisi was on FIRE when the Renault wasn't up to par with the BMW's then when his car got Fractionally close to the BMW's he dropped away like an old man on Viagra (hence when his car got reasonable). So he does have a point to proove this year at FIndia so we will see...

Eric 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2007 True, apparently, the list of candidates has been reduced to Fisi and Rodriguez... Well, if that's the case, then it is Fisi's seat as Rodriguez is already confirmed as the official test driver.
elgo 1 Report post Posted December 26, 2007 Well, if that's the case, then it is Fisi's seat as Rodriguez is already confirmed as the official test driver. That's the most sensible option,IMO.Well,not.Klien as test driver.
Silver_Arrows 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2007 Without Alonso in the other seat to outclass him, Fisi still under delivered in 2007, and I personally feel that this is a move that signifies that he is on the tail end of his career. In spurts, he can be a good driver but he doesn\'t have the consistant fastness of an Alonso or Raikkonen
JayStorm 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Murray Walker Style: "Fantastic!!" Delighted at this news. Honestly wasn't all that confident of this news as he really had been a bit rubbish this year but he performed well in the testing and if you look at the rest of his F1 career then it was a pretty good decision for FI. Better make a new banner then!
5P33D3V1L 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2007 Oh... I was hoping Klien would of got the seat He needs to be in F1 racing again, unlike Fisi who wasted his chance at Renault.
