Medilloni 6 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 Talking with bunch of friends/reunion type thing over last weekend, the subject of this thread came up - and yes, all the women were between 30 and 48 (so 80's 70's, 60's music was almost sure to figure). The women voted for......... Sonny and Cher, 'I Got You Babe' - they say it was because of the times associated with it as well as the way it was sung. So do we find the most romantic (or most moving) music, that attached to important/memorable parts of our pasts? Go figure....
goferrarigo 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 hmm... Since this topic is back up i might as well ask.. Any other songs like Regrets(MG) or the one Steve gave(http://www.progarchives.com/mediaPlayer.asp?bandId=779) I really liked those so any suggestions would be nice... Minchia! 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2008 Nothing stirrs my soul like the 2nd movment of Devorak's Symphony No.9 (The New World) Any of Bach's cello suites are also pretty romantic. (Especially if its Yo-Yo Ma playing). For modern tunes, I love the smooth sounds of Stan Getz playing Jobim (bossanova). - That's what gets the old lady in the mood

I've never been a fan of Getz, though. To get women in the mood I recomend the songs of the Hitler Youth, and Smack My Bitch Up, from Mosley's latest record: "Ze Ron Dennis needs more of ze punishment: Max's Greatest Hits"
