Minardi toyota

Recommended Posts

this chould be the full name of the Minardi tema as off 2006 if all goes well for PS. we all know that Jordan and Toyota have been in talks but thay have stoped because the mane man at Toyota has stoped them because EJ has bad binnes manners. Minardi will be getting theres Engines at the low price of $000000.00 but Toyota will get to try out new drivers at Minardi and also a second team to vote the same way as them in the condcord agrement. this is all good for Minardi and PS but Toyota has said that thay can only do this if thay solve there problems. and also can Minardi make it till 2006 wich is the first possible time that this can go ahead.

It would be a win win situation for both teams. Minardi would gain a stonking engine, finally!!, whilst Toyota would learn how to build an aero efficient car. Minardi always build aerodynamically great cars considering their budget, but simply can't develop it due to lack of $$$. Minardi would teach Toyota a thing or five!!

Yeah this is great due to Toyota being in F1 and their possible willingness to provide support . I like it that Ford could be out of Minardi only because they were suppling such a crap behind the times engine.

Where did you hear this information Webber?

Mmmmm ..

I have serious questions about the veracity of this one.

If Minardi were willing to roll over and take it up the batty for another team, to get their hands on decent engnes, there is a more obvious team who would be prepared to offer them good value (though not free or anything like it) plus the odd second (should that be third) hand chassis.

I dont know where this came from, but I suspect it was spoken in an ozzie accent with the intention of distracting attention from the real discussions........

I think that the rumours concerning Jordan becoming Toyota’s B-Team are more reasonable and believable than this idea of Minardi becoming Toyota’s B-Team. However, strange things do happen in F1.

Alistair- all of this info was from pitpass.com here is the right addie to get there http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_new...es_art_id=20521

i think that Minardi will be the better B team than Jordan for a few resions.

1. toyota is a single keel wile minardi is a single and jordan is a dubble.

2. Minardi make better airo cars.(well dont include the PS03 because that was made for Minchlens not Brigstones)

3. PS and OVe are great frends and have restect for eachother.

4. minardi's and toyota's base are closer than Jordan's and toyoa's

5. nelly 1/3 of the people that work at Toyota used to work at Minardi.

6. by picking Minardi Toyota will get a lot more fans all over the world and there for get a lot of sponsership and also that name Toyota will be seen as a good frendly car so people will wont to buy there road car's. why will that get more fans by picking minardi well because minardi have a good fan base all around the world as benning the hard-bun-by under dog so if toyota helps Minardi toyota will fine it self with a lot more fans.

ooohhhhh ans the smalll fact that EJ has losed credibility with Toyota as a result of "business manners".

Apologies Mr Webber…it just sounded a little farfetched but I hope it does go ahead.

that's the best bit of the story by far!

i can so see eddie rubbing the toyota-sans the wrong way with his "business manners" and recent efforts.

Unfortunately, this linkup won’t go-ahead until around 2006 as Toyota want to sort their own problems out before supplying Minardi with engines…

is this story credible, or is it stoddy-induced pr? the pitpass source seems to suggest it's plausible, and i think minardi would be the better option for toyota for reasons already stated above. although there's nothing in the concorde agreement that say's it's illegal or anything, but ej does seem to switch loyalties pretty quickly when it suits him, so stoddart would be the better option for toyota imo. loyalty and long-lasting relationships are repected in japanese business.

Zsolt Baumgartner is rather slow but he doesn’t spin or crash his car. Bruni is outperforming him this year but since they are both rookies (Baumgartner only had 2 races in 2003 so I still regard him as a rookie driver) and since Baumgartner is not making too many needless mistakes I don’t think we should be too critical of him yet – he’s having a far more impressive debut season that Sato did in 2002…

Bruni is beating Zolt by 2 to 3 sec in Quli. and Bruni is the only one looking like changling any one in the race

Bruni is not anything like 2–3 sec quicker than Baumgartner. At Australia Bruni didn’t set a time. At Malaysia Bruni was 0.7 sec quicker than Baumgartner. At Bahrain Bruni was 1.2 sec quicker than Baumgartner – the gap is big but nowhere near as large as you suggest, nor do we know fuel quantities …

dude look at testing, look at all other times and Bruni is faster by a mile i muct say its more like 2 sec and not 3

but if your testing times are shot then there is no good data to make impornt improvements then there is no good car in the races and well right now minardi need a good car and well Bruni is the only one that can do that. but any way Imola was the first race that Zolt has been in frount on Bruni for more than 5 laps

Testing times can be very deceptive as for one; we don’t know what parts are being used on each car, let alone fuel levels etc. Qualifying times are far more representative of relative pace and thus far more important.
