Quiet One 15 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 End of Q1 Vettel still is getting whopped by Bourdais. And DC by Webbo. The rest of the guys are very close except for Kimi. Nando pulled an amazing flying lap out of thin air (probably just for the fan's sake)

Quiet One 15 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 Fernando, Fernando!!!!!Renault!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a great way to start the weekend Well, that was rather unexpected! I guess it will be a really short first stint for Nando. But you gotta love the roaring sound of the public when he made provisional P1, louder than all the engines. Elizabeth Sterling 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 The home crowd roar is a great one no matter where and for whom. He drove well, he earned it, and I'm not Alonso's biggest fan so it should hurt to say that but... eh, I'm honestly happy for the guy for the first time since 2006. But yes, he damn earned it. Fuel loads aside, to get the R2008 between the Ferrari's takes more than just driving on fumes. Hope he can stay away from gas-pedal tester Lewis Hamilton

AleHop 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 uhmmm...i find englishmen are very quiet in this forum today.... Yesterday some of them said they wouldn't watch the race as it were going to be a Ferrari procession. But, hey the start will be a kind of Raikkolonssa sandwich. Alonso said they never expected 1st row so maybe he is not on fumes but he will do the shortest stint of them all.
whiskee 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2008 So theres a little hope for Renault left to join to the group of potential race-winners this season. A perfect day for a Alonso/Kimi fanster Lets hope the race isnt as boring as it usually is.
