Kimi Raikkonen is certainly in the last act of his Formula One career, and the Finn has revealed that the decision to leave Ferrari or not will not be one that he'll be making.

The 20-time Grand Prix winner has been in inspired form this season, looking sharp in the races while being quick in qualifying too. However, rumours of him being forced out of the team after this season are gaining traction.

"It's not my decision," Raikkonen said.

"It depends on the team and they know exactly what I want."

The thing that he wants is probably another year at the team, maybe even two. The Finn, who became world champion with Ferrari in 2007, explains that he's still enjoying himself even though he's not exactly a young whippersnapper anymore.

"I don't drive in Formula One if I don't have fun.

"The pleasure of driving is the only thing that keeps me here.

"I can do without everything else, even though it's the way it is.

"The decision is influenced by many things, but at least my passion for racing will not disappear from this moment to the end of the season."

His teammate Sebastian Vettel also seems to be in favour of Raikkonen staying.

"I think he's fast enough compared to anyone out there," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Ferrari may find it easy to find a driver, but it's much more difficult to find someone with the same values and respect."
