Haas driver Romain Grosjean was one of the most impressive drivers on Sunday, finishing in P6 - following some late overtakes.

Grosjean was in eleventh, following an ill-judged pit stop for Intermediate tyres and then a late surge from the Frenchman, saw him climb up the grid and manage to finish in sixth place.

A last lap overtake of Force India driver Sergio Perez was after he passed the likes of Brendon Hartley, Marcus Ericsson, Carlos Sainz Jr. and Esteban Ocon.

Grosjean's season at Haas has been largely disappointing, with this being only his second time he's been in the points - finishing P4 at the Austrian Grand Prix.

The Haas driver feels as if he owed this to the team, following the mistakes he has made throughout the season.

"That was good fun," Grosjean told The Checkered Flag.

"It was a good end to the race. Obviously, we didn't quite get the right choice putting inters on, as the track dried really quickly for some reason.

"It was a bit of luck, a gamble, but we came back on slicks, and I had amazing fun through those last laps. I was just pushing it to the limit and going for it. I think we would have been quite happy to be where we were before the rain came, and then, obviously, it rained.

"The boys derserved a really good drive from me, and I had fun doing it."
