McLaren junior driver Lando Norris has hinted about a potential move to the Formula One team on his Twitter account after the team confirmed Carlos Sainz as one of the drivers for next season, as Norris will be fighting for the second seat with Stoffel Vandoorne.

Norris was made the reserve driver for McLaren at the start of 2018 as he entered the Formula 2 as well with Carlin. After winning the Formula 3 championship last season, Norris is now second in the F2 championship behind Mercedes junior driver George Russell, who overtook him a few weeks ago.

The 18-year-old is still linked to a seat at Toro Rosso next season, as Pierre Gasly will likely be making the step up to Red Bull Racing after Carlos Sainz was announced at McLaren. This web of signings has left Norris confused, as he's trying to figure out where he'll be able to drive next season (at least, that's how we're interpreting this).
