Guenther Steiner says his Haas side do not feel threatened by the ever increasing links between Ferrari and Sauber this season.

Haas had previously been the closer side with Ferrari; but it now looks like Sauber are effectively the Italian's 'B Team'.

Sauber receive current-spec Ferrari power units and title sponsorship.

Despite Sauber being closer with Ferrari now, team principal Guenther Steiner says that his team do not do not feel at all threatened by the rise of Sauber.

"No. I mean, we're progressing as well so I have no problem. Why would I?" Steiner told RACER magazine this week.

"We've got a very good relationship with them (Ferrari). It has worked now for four years, and we are very happy.

"They have no interest to make it worse because they are pretty happy with us. We pay our bills, we work hard, they see that.

"We try to make them proud with their customer engine so they are happy as well."

Steiner believes that Ferrari's progress with their power units has benefited all three teams this season and that's why they're a lot closer to the Mercedes-powered teams.

"I think they (Ferrari) have done a great job," Steiner added.

"They put us in a good spot with their work. I always said we believe in them, they're doing a good job and now they are ahead of Mercedes."
