Esteban Ocon has admitted that his time with Racing Point Force India could be over. The Frenchman's future in Formula One has been uncertain since the summer takeover of the team by a consortium backed by Lawrence Stroll.

Rumours during this grand prix weekend at Spa suggested that Ocon would be making way for Lance Stroll now that his father has bought the team, rumours that if Ocon's comments are to be believed, are true.

Having qualified an excellent third in a timely display of his talent, Ocon was overheard talking to second-placed Sebastian Vettel about his situation and rumours that he may be on the brink at his current team.

According to Soymotor, Ocon appeared to admit to Vettel that his seat at Force India was taken during the post-qualifying press conference, saying that it had been bought.

Vettel: "The year, which is coming, where are you going? You stay here?"
Ocon: "No, no. The seat is taken."
Vettel: "Oh yes?"
Ocon: "Yes, he bought it."

Should Ocon be kicked out at Force India, another rumoured destination for him is McLaren however the latest suggestions seem to indicate due to his size, he would be too tall to fit into the McLaren MCL33 and so an in season move, replacing Stoffel Vandoorne now appears to be off the table.
