Leclerc drives a Ferrari for the first time!
Charles Leclerc has driven his first laps as a Ferrari driver, as the Monegasque rookie took part in a Pirelli test in a Ferrari F1 car (with his number on it!) at Paul Ricard, host of the French Grand Prix.
Leclerc was announced as Ferrari's new 2019 driver a few weeks ago, as the 20-year-old will swap places with Kimi Raikkonen and team up with Sebastian Vettel.
He was able to do his first stint for his dream team, as he completed 129 laps at Paul Ricard in France. Valtteri Bottas also did 102 laps for Mercedes.
It's unclear how much impact this test will be, mainly because the regulations with regards to downforce are subject to change.
Sebastian Vettel didn't do any testing with his future teammate, despite the German's reputation for grabbing every opportunity for testing with both hands.
