Leclerc completes Pirelli tyre test in Ferrari cockpit
Charles Leclerc got his first taste of the 2018 Ferrari car yesterday in a Pirelli tyre test. He completed 129 laps, more than double the Grand Prix distance at the Paul Ricard circuit. He was joined on track by Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas.

Sebastian Vettel Leclerc's 2019 team-mate, will take over driving duties today. Pirelli ensures the test is made blind, so nobody knows which tyre is which.
It's the final time this year that both the top two teams will test the tyres together. Earlier in the year, they both completed wet tyre testing. Renault and Sauber will be on hand to run final tests in Japan and Mexico before the final 2019 tyres are sorted.
Following the conclusion of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, all teams will use the 2019 tyres.
