Sebastian Vettel has sent out a message to Lewis Hamilton in the build up to the Russian Grand Prix, saying that his car is working well and how Russia should suit the Ferrari.

Vettel took pole at the Sochi Autodrom last year, and although he missed out on the win by a 0.6 second margin to Valtteri Bottas, he has a decent record there, finishing second twice.

The German driver really needs to get a move on if he wants to win the title this season. He trails Lewis Hamilton by 40 points with just six rounds remaining and is a huge underdog to win the title now.

Hamilton will go ahead of him on five titles if he is to win the championship, so Vettel will be more motivated than ever to not let that happen.

Vettel needs a miracle and you feel it has to start here otherwise he can wave goodbye to the title for another year.

Vettel told the media: “Russia, I think, has been getting better the last years for us, so it should suit our car as well.

“I don’t think we have any tracks to fear that are coming,” he added. “I think our car is working pretty much everywhere and that’s a strength of our car, so no need to be afraid of what’s coming.”
