Haas driver Romain Grosjean has vouched to give it everything he's got in the last two Grands Prix of the season, as his team are still hoping to catch up to Renault in the battle for the 'best of the rest' title.

Renault currently man the fourth place in the constructors' championship, besting Haas by 30 points with just two races to go. Haas failed to score points in their last two races in both the United States and in Mexico.

"The battle is quite tight, quite good," Grosjean said on Haas's website.

"We lost a bit of ground at our home grand prix and in Mexico, which is a shame. We’re trying to make up for it, and we’ll be giving it 100 percent."

When asked whether it really matters who gets fourth place in a championship as there is no silverware, Grosjean explained that it is indeed significant.

“It’s got a big significance for us. Fourth or fifth would be a big achievement for Haas F1 Team in its third season of competition.”

Not to mention the extra prize money.

"Interlagos should be a good Grand Prix for us. It’s a track I particularly like. I’m very much looking forward to going there.”
