The Ferrari museum is set to unveil a Michael Schumacher exhibition early next year to celebrate his 50th birthday. Schumacher still remains the most winningest driver in F1 history with 91 race victories and seven world championship titles, making him the most successful driver of all time.

The exhibition will open on January 3rd 2019 at the teams base in Maranello. The display will celebrate Schumacher's legendary career and "is intended both as a celebration and a mark of gratitude to the most successful Prancing Horse driver ever."

Schumacher joined Ferrari in 1996 and went on to win five-straight world championship titles with the team between 2000 and 2004, becoming the most successful F1 driver of all time.

The German formed one-third of a 'wonder team' that included Jean Todt and Ross Brawn which oversaw and helped achieve one of the sports most successful partnerships and periods of dominance.

“The Museum’s rooms will look back over the memorable seasons that the seven-time World Champion gifted to all Ferraristi, and that created a legend now bigger than ever in the hearts of all fans.”

Since Schumacher's skiing incident in 2013, little is known about his condition with rumours circulating often but are often disputed or fabricated. His son Mick Schumacher continues to grow in talent, winning the European Formula 3 title last season and will race in F2 with PREMA in 2019.
