Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean will all see the FIA race stewards following an incident at the start of qualifying for the French Grand Prix.

Just three minutes into Q1, Ricciardo triggered a flashpoint having slowed on track which forced Raikkonen into avoiding action at Turn 11.

With a number of drivers on their opening fast laps of the first qualifying session, Grosjean was next on the circuit and had to ease off to not clash with Raikkonen between Turns 11 and 12.

The separate incidents will be reviewed by the FIA race stewards at 16:45 local time. Ricciardo is under investigation for driving unnecessarily slowly and impeding a Raikkonen, while the Finn faces the stewards for allegedly impeding Grosjean.

If any driver is found guilty, they could face a minimum of a three-place grid penalty for the French Grand Prix which would be in line with previous penalties for similar incidents during qualifying.

Grosjean failed to progress through Q1 for Haas, and will start from 17th place, with Kimi Raikkonen out in Q2 in 12th place for Alfa Romeo. Ricciardo made it to Q3 and qualified in eighth place for Renault.
