Charles Leclerc closed out practice for the British Grand Prix fastest as Ferrari responded to rival Mercedes's impressive Friday pace with a one-two finish.

After trailing the Mercedes duo of Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton in FP2, Ferrari managed to hit back in the final practice session of the weekend as Leclerc leapt to the top of the timesheets.

After damp conditions limited running early on, Leclerc managed to set a best lap time of 1m25.905s set towards the end of the session to finish 0.026s clear of teammate Sebastian Vettel, giving Ferrari a boost heading into qualifying.

Mercedes remained in the mix at the front of the pack, though, as Hamilton finished just half a tenth of a second shy of Leclerc's lead time. Teammate Bottas took sixth place overall, half a second down on his teammate.

The Mercedes were split by both Red Bull drivers as Pierre Gasly's impressive weekend continued with a fourth-place finish, 0.213s off Leclerc. Max Verstappen wound up fifth-fastest.

Lando Norris took seventh place for McLaren ahead of the Renault pair of Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo, while Alexander Albon closed out the top 10.

Qualifying begins at 1pm BST on Saturday at Silverstone.
