Mick vows to continue Schumacher F1 legacy

The Schumacher name has plenty of heritage and Mick Schumacher has insisted he is set on continuing that legacy as he starts his journey in motorsport. The German is currently racing in Formula 2.

There is a lot of pressure on the young shoulders of Mick, who's father is seven-time World Champion, Michael Schumacher and his uncle is former Formula 1 driver, Ralf Schumacher. 

Mick is currently racing for Prema Racing and won his first race in Hungary in the sprint race. However, Mick has bigger aspirations, with his heart set on F1.

"A plan B? No, that was never there for me. Simply because I think that if you have a plan B, you will never go full for plan A," Mick tells the German edition of GQ.

“Driving in Formula 1 has always been my dream and you always try to make dreams come true.

"The name Schumacher is not only linked to success, but also to passion and loyalty. That is a tradition that I would like to extend into the future."
