Formula 1 has just announced an F1-themed festival in Los Angeles, California in the week of the US Grand Prix in Austin called the F1 Hollywood Festival, which will feature Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas.

It won't be the first time F1 will host a festival in the United States, with similar events having been held in Chicago and Miami previously as F1-owners Liberty Media continue their quest to raise the sport's profile for American audiences.

The festival will be free for visitors and will have a car exhibition on Hollywood Boulevard, as well as demonstrations from Verstappen, Ricciardo and Bottas, who have 19 Grand Prix victories between them.

F1's commercial director Sean Bratches was excited to announce the festival and is looking forward to entertaining the American audience on October 30th.

“Following the huge success of our US festival offering, including our Miami take over and Chicago fan event earlier this year, we are excited to be returning to the States for our third instalment of F1 Festivals in America," he said in an official statement.

"LA is an iconic city, known for all things showbiz and we are extremely excited to be adding F1 to the Hollywood walk of fame, as we take over the Blvd for the first time. It’s very important that fans get to experience F1 in city centres and that we showcase what Formula 1 has to offer to the US market.”
