Spare parts shortage for Red Bull in Mexico following Albon's crash in FP2

Christian Horner has hinted Aston Martin Red Bull Racing are struggling for parts after Alex Albon collided with the wall during Friday's second practice session ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix. The team managed to get the car ready for Saturday but might struggle if another crash happens for Albon or Max Verstappen. 

"We don't have too many parts left after Alex's crash on Friday. That's normal. You don't build up a large inventory since parts are regularly adjusted or improved," Horner told Sky Sports. 

“The boys did a fantastic job of changing the chassis last night before the garage had to be locked. But logically we don't want this to happen again before the qualification or the race."

Both cars managed to get through FP3 without trouble, meaning Horner only has to worry about qualifying this afternoon. Albon, who moved up to Red Bull midseason, accordingly gave himself a hard time overnight in Mexico. 

“I think Alex gave himself a hard time. He went over the data well into the night, but today is a new day with new opportunities."
