F1 Gossip: Hamilton ‘not a fit’ for Red Bull, says Horner

- Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has all but ruled out ever signing Lewis Hamilton, adding the six-time world champion “wouldn’t fit into our programme” (Reuters) 

- Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff says a combination of Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton driving remains the “obvious pairing” for the team (ESPN F1) 

- But Hamilton’s former McLaren teammate Jenson Button, believes his fellow countryman is not “holding all the cards” in his contract extension talks with Mercedes, which are set to continue heading into the new season (Sky Sports) 

- Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo says the importance of having a competitive car is what he dislikes the most about modern-day Formula 1 (RaceFans) 

- Jenson Team Rocket RJN, the team of which 2009 Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button is a partner of, has switched from Honda to McLaren and confirmed its entry in the 2020 GT World Challenge. (dailysportscar.com)

Meanwhile, Honda - which will once again power both Red Bull and AlphaTauri this year - has released a sound clip of its engine, dubbed the RA620H, fire up.
