The second week of winter testing is underway, but before it started Aston Martin Red Bull Racing engineers have already been working with a new innovation. The pitstop team for Max Verstappen and Alex Albon have been practising this morning.

Red Bull Racing are known to have the fastest pitstop in the paddock. It's unsurprising that they've come out with an innovative technique to practice.

Normally, when a car's tyres have been changed, the mechanics have to physically push the car back so they can go again. However, according to our reporter on-site, the team has built an electric motor in the dummy car, which means that the team no longer has to push.

After trying the pit stops,  the team has to work for a long day in Barcelona. Albon will start in the morning for Red Bull, while Verstappen will take care of the afternoon. The team will again want to gather as much information as possible during the day, with probably a few updates on the cars since the first test.
