Red Bull Racing came into action on Thursday at the Silverstone circuit for a so-called film day. During the filming day the team will make 100 kilometers on show tyres from Pirelli. Alexander Albon was behind the wheel on Thursday.

Missing steps

Like Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, AlphaTauri and Racing Point, Red Bull Racing has now done a test before the start of the Formula 1 season. With the new corona measures the teams have to take some new things into account and they would rather have tested that first.

It's also good for the drivers, as they haven't been in an F1 car since the winter tests in Barcelona. Albon was able to get in during the test, where Max Verstappen stayed at home. The Dutchman first had to be quarantined, while he himself had indicated earlier that he didn't see the benefit of a test day.
